Reflecting on Summer Highlights

According to The Old Farmer's Almanac, today is technically the last day of summer. I always felt that fall began when the weather started getting cool. Now that I live in Oklahoma, I can't exactly go by that "cool feeling."

The lazy, long days of summer might feel like ancient history to you by now...especially if you're in school, have kids in school, or live up in the chilly north where the last warm day was in the middle of August...but I wanted to reflect on some of the blessings {big & small} & fun happenings of the last few months of summer.

So, bring on Fall, ya'll!

I'm looking forward to...

jackets
pumpkins
mums
leggings
not breaking a sweat just on the way out to the car
leaves turning {what's left of them...most trees shed their leaves early this year during our extreme summer to preserve themselves!}
bonfires
hot chocolate
fall flavors at Starbucks {especially creme brulee! I'm not much for pumpkin spice or chai...do I need to apologize for that?!}
a Halloween party {that's a hint for an invite...wink}
 scarves
boots!
and Thanksgiving, of course!
oh, and black friday

What are you looking forward to this fall season?
